6th Keub (Grade) Blue Belt Requirements

  Bhang Jok Sool (Defense against kicks) 1-7

1st stripe

  1. Bhang Jok 1 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Assuming a right back stance, execute a right back knuckle to the top of the right ankle.
  2. Bhang Jok 2 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside, execute a left knife hand striking block to the back of their right calf, followed up with a right elbow strike to the side/top of calf.
  3. Bhang Jok 3 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside, execute a left knife hand striking block to the back of their right calf, then execute a right reverse punch to the ribs, transition to a left forward stance.
  4. Bhang Jok 4 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside, execute a left knife hand striking block to the back of their right calf, then execute reverse right elbow to the ribs will transitioning to a left forward stance.
  5. Bhang Jok 5 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping inside in a right forward stance, execute a left knife hand black to the shin, execute a right reverse punch to the solar plexus.
  6. Bhang Jok 6 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Blocking with a right x block to the top of their ankle, then execute a right front kick to the groin.
  7. Bhang Jok 7 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Execute a right x block at forearm, grabbing their ankle, and execute Jok Sul 1 to the left leg.

  Bhang Jok Sool (Defense against kicks) 8-14

2nd  stripe

  • Bhang Jok 8 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside, execute a downward defecting block, grab their leg under the knee with your right arm, execute a right knee strike under their thigh.
  • Bhang Jok 9 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Block with a downward elbow, capturing the leg and execute a right low side kick to their leg.
  • Bhang Jok 10 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Execute a xblock and capture their leg and execute a right turning kick to the pelvis.

3rd  stripe

  1. Bhang Jok 15 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Execute a right x block at the ankle, capture the ankle, and execute a right hooking kick to the top of their thigh, swinging leg over and throwing and pining them with their leg.
  2. Bhang Jok 16 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside, execute a downward defecting block, capture the leg from underneath at the knee, execute a right hooking kick to their left back of knee while throwing their right leg back.
  3. Bhang Jok 17 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside, execute a downward defecting block, capture the leg from underneath at the knee, execute a left sweeping kick to their left ankle, throwing them backward.
  4. Bhang Jok 18 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside, execute a downward defecting block, capture the leg from underneath at the knee, execute a throw by stepping forward.
  5. Bhang Jok 19 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Execute a right x block at the ankle, step inside grabbing their knee and continue to turn in throwing them.
  6. Bhang Jok 20 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside checking their leg, grab both shoulders and bring them down backwards
  7. Bhang Jok 21 Sool – Opponent executes a right-side kick mid-level. Stepping to the outside checking the leg, striking the kidneys with a right then left elbow attack.
